Jonathan Burdick, MD

Jon is a native Coloradan, born and raised in Littleton, Colorado, and still lives near his childhood home. Jon earned his MD degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, when it was located at 9th and Colorado Blvd, and completed residency training at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. After completing his residency, he worked for Colorado Permanente Medical Group and Kaiser before rejoining the St. Joseph Hospital Family Medicine Residency as a full-time faculty member in 2014. He still maintains a clinical practice at the UCHC Bruner Family Medicine clinic, providing primary care to underserved populations in the Denver Metro area. Jon has had various roles in the Bruner Family Medicine clinic during that time span, including that of clinic Medical Director during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jon joined the leadership team of Uptown Community Health in 2022 as the Associate Chief Medical Officer, where his experience in safety, quality measurement and quality improvement can benefit all patients who seek care in Uptown Community Health Centers and the community we are part of.

In 2024, he stepped into the role of Chief Medical Officer for UCHC full-time and continues to see patients in the Bruner Family Medicine Clinic.

Outside of work, Jon has many interests that keep him busy. He loves cooking, especially making bread and BBQ and sharing food and recipes with others. He enjoys cycling on quiet country roads in Colorado and has completed half-Iron-man triathlons. He is also very active in church meetings with junior high and high school-age youth groups.
